Cotto vs Canelo Prediction

Cotto vs Canelo Prediction

November 21, 2015, Miguel Cotto defends the lineal Middleweight Championship against Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez in a fight that will be contested at Jr. Middleweight. Here is my breakdown and prediction.

Cotto’s deficiencies play directly into Canelo’s style. The size and youth are factors to a much lesser extent.

Cotto will begin retreating by rounds 4-5 and TKO’d by the 10th.

Royal Divide writer Percy Dockery is also picking Canelo but sees the bout as slightly closer.

If Alvarez can cut off the ring and impose his size hell make cotto mileage show. I don’t think he will

  2. Canelo was absolutely great last night. His speed and footwork have improved tremendously

  3. The thunder rattled Cotto a few times.
